SUBMERGED, 2024

SUBMERGED was created by British Sculptor Andrew Logan in 2024. It is part of a new Wearable Art collection of Goddess pieces, referencing Andrew Logan's 1984 Goddesses exhibition, and celebrating Alternative Miss World 2026 - GAIA.

A Goddess of the Sea - Submerged is a truly beautiful piece that incorporates a stunning piece of natural white coral - making this a very tactile brooch.

The coral is framed with fragments of clear mirror and freshwater pearl, and is encrusted with hundreds of very tiny pearl beads.

All of these elements are set into white resin, which has been sprinkled with white glitter, with occasional flecks of pink. The back of the brooch bears the title of the piece, and is signed and dated by Andrew.

This unique brooch measures approximately 16 by 9 cm at its widest points and weighs 94 g.  It can be attached to your chosen garment using a gold coloured safety pin embedded in the resin on the reverse.

This piece of wearable art has been created with love by artist Andrew Logan in his studio in Mid-Wales. This brooch will be packaged in a gift box and sent to you via Special Delivery.
