GREEN GODDESS is an Indian-inspired brooch taking the form of a boteh - a curved teardrop shape used in paisley patterns. It was created by Sculptor Andrew Logan in 2024 and is available to purchase for the first time now.

GREEN GODDESS is a simple but elegant design which will add some intrigue and interest to every outfit. The boteh is shaped around an unusual piece of Indian textiles, which takes the shape of an unfurling flower with a single leaf, intricately woven using gold thread, sequins pearls, and red gems. Surrounding this design is a fringe of peacock feather thread. Andrew has set this into green resin and built around it using fragments of green glass, green and red crystals, some coral beads and three twinkling crystals. One side of the brooch has been framed with pearls.

From the tip of the teardrop hangs two jade, pearlescent beads. These beads dangle freely bringing some dynamism to the piece.

The back of the brooch bears the title of the piece, and has been signed and dated by Andrew.

This unique brooch measures approximately 13.5 by 9.5 cm at its widest points and weighs 63 g.  It can be attached to your chosen garment using a gold coloured safety pin embedded in the resin on the reverse.

This piece of wearable art has been created with love by artist Andrew Logan in his studio in Mid-Wales. This brooch will be packaged in a gift box and sent to you via Special Delivery.
