FLURRY, 2025

FLURRY is an Indian inspired brooch which form is similar to the boteh - a curved teardrop shape used in paisley patterns. It was created by Sculptor Andrew Logan in 2025 and is available to purchase for the first time now.

FLURRY is an intricately made pieces with several layers of detail. To the right side of the brooch, Andrew has placed a decorative piece of Indian textiles from his travels. This features red, green and orange crystals and tiny white and gold beads.

On the left-hand side of the piece, a triangle of unusual handmade glass, with a few tiny flecks of gold leaf is framed by 5 leaf shaped, opalescent charms, and five dangling brass flowers, which add some dynamism to the piece.

All of these elements are set into black resin, which has been sprinkled with multicoloured glitter. The back of the brooch bears the title of the piece, and has been signed and dated by Andrew.

This unique brooch measures approximately 11.5 by 7 cm at its widest points and weighs 46 g.  It can be attached to your chosen garment using a gold coloured safety pin embedded in the resin on the reverse.

This piece of wearable art has been joyfully created by artist Andrew Logan in his studio in Mid-Wales. This brooch will be packaged in a gift box and sent to you via Special Delivery.
