CHENNAI ROSE BROOCH, 2010
Andrew Logan jewellery includes brooches which are handcrafted and unique, as this visionary artist is always exploring new creative designs and often uses recycled materials. His jewellery can be a statement piece, to compliment many outfits and each brooch bears Andrew Logan’s signature. The 'Chennai Rose' brooch was created in 2010, inspired by a trip to India, and Andrew Logan hopes this one-off, designer piece of wearable sculpture brings you joy.
The brooch resembles a rose in full bloom and features 13 salmon red and 8 pinky lilac pieces of patterned glass. These have been arranged in a mosaic style, set into orange resin and embellished with a generous sprinkling of pale peach and deep coral coloured glitter.
This impressive brooch has a diameter of approximately 13.5 cm and weighs 81 g. It can be attached using a safety pin embedded into the orange and yellow resin on the reverse side and will add vibrancy to any outfit.
